God Hand Evaluated
I was really thinking about this video game given that it came from CapcomClover workshops (so unfortunate to see them go, fortunately they formed Seed Studios). I loved Okami and delighted in Viewtiful Joe. What made GodHand much more fascinating was the variation between the scores for this game. I figured I need to offer this game a shot.
Graphics: 7
The graphics in God Hand are decent. There are some concerns with the cam however you can obtain made use of to it fairly quick. One extremely eccentric thing is when the sides of buildings dissapear once in a while when you are dodging but that does not take place frequently. The characters and computer animations look trendy yet the landscape is instead dull.
Noise: 8
I directly like the western twang of the music and it goes well with the total motif of the game. Currently to the voice acting …by link god hand rom website I assume it is amusing and I believe it is attempting to have that ineffective, corny feel to it. I got a kick out of a few of the stuff the personalities said.
Gameplay: 8
This one was tough at first due to the fact that the game controls are so fundamental. Check out games like Devil May Cry 3 and God of War. There is so much you can do. The controls here do not meet todaycriteria yet it doesnt matter. The controls for this game, while fundamental, fit it flawlessly My greatest issue is the fact that YOU TIN NOT JUMP! On a positive note, the interaction with opponents, tossing barrels, etc are on factor. It is extremely fun to defeat the crap out of your enemies with combinations, juggles, switch mashing and the God Hand.
Story/Presentation: 6
Once more, one more difficult point to evaluate considering that there are ups and downs. The story itself is kinda cool. The presentation is very standard. You are generally thrust into this game with no introductory or anything like that. Also, there is no tutorial. There are random (and believe me when I say arbitrary) places on the ground that you can walk over and see what button does what. I think they might have improved discussion a lot.
Replay Value: 5
There genuinely is not too much replay value to this game. There must be a two player or versus mode. You can do a New Game+ when you triumph, where you can use all your strategies obtained throughout the video game. There are some mini video games, etc, quite common things. I actually had no desire to play this video game as soon as I completed it.
There are many excellent aspects to this game such as gameplay, problem, audio and graphics. On the other hand I can see why people would not like it for the problem, control scheme and absence of replay worth. This is an activity game with a below style of beat-em up. You need to contrast a game similar to this to itpeers such as God of Battle, Evil One May Cry, etc. While this video game does NOT be entitled to a 10, it is really much from a 3 score. Total I would certainly rate this game a 6.5 Offer it a shot, definitely a great leasing and an opportunity of speed from most video games.
